Chinese manufacturers and sourcing companies provide low cost parts. They sell these standard products without fully understanding your factory’s production processes, inventory carry costs, set up costs, maintenance costs, and costs of nonconformity. As a result, the China sourced items are not engineered to (1) perform at the level the international machine tool user requires or (2) address cost reductions through continuous process improvements.

Samson started out supplying custom made machine tool castings from China to the US and Europe. We continue to offer low priced, grey and ductile iron, gravity castings. We work directly from drawings or create casting drawings from finished part drawings. Samson often designs castings from customer drawings or sketches.

As part of our continuous improvement culture, we work with our customers to offer casting design improvements (i.e. improved damping, better stiffness, better wall-to-wall thickness ratios, improved micro structures, etc.). We offer patterns, moulds, heat treatment, shot blasting, painting, machining, testing, packaging, and CIF shipment.

A part or whole machine costing from $5,000 to $200,000 to pattern, mould, cast and machine in the US or Europe can be supplied CIF from Samson from $1,000 to $25,000. Our US and European customers rely on their partnership with Samson to keep their businesses competitive.
